PHP, MySQL Database Developer

A bit about you:

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and innovative LAMP database developer with good problem solving, time-management, and communication skills, who enjoys sharing their expertise and knowledge while working in a collaborative environment, and is experienced with PHP and MySQL development design patterns and techniques. You think of PhpMyAdmin as a good friend, and you occasionally dream of queries.

The responsibilities:

• Development of classes, controllers, and back-end processes
• Design & MySQL database structures and procedures
• Development of MySQL queries
• Administration and optimization of MySQL servers

The qualifications:

• Highly skilled in PHP and SQL languages and techniques
• Very experienced with object oriented programming, complex MySQL queries, and use of PHP database extensions
• Experienced with Memcached and other database caching and scaling tools
• Experienced with subversion or other software version control systems
• Well versed in a team-oriented, iterative, collaborative software development work flow and related best practices
• Quality assurance experience preferred
• Comfortable working in Mac, Linux and PC environment
